Increasingly, brides and even grooms are turning to yoga and/or meditation to help them manage the chaos, as well as maximise and get the most out of their big day. Yoga, meditation and mindfulness practices are the perfect ways to minimise and counteract the anxiety and stress that can often emerge prior to and on the wedding day. And, with the right practice, you will also see physical benefits of a leaner body, better posture and glowing skin!

Our yoga and mindfulness programs for brides are customised to the particular bride.

Our Mindful Bride Package will help you to feel lighter, calmer, decisive and ready for your big day! And, by helping to alleviate anxiety and guiding you through exercises that tone and enhance the physique, your outer appearance will also receive great benefits.

What does the package involve?

The Mindful Bride package is an eight week program of weekly yoga classes taught one-to-one. Each program is developed in consultation with the particular bride. Packages can also incorporate mindfulness coaching, meditation, Pilates and/or cardio workouts for a more comprehensive program.

We begin with an initial consultation and analysis of information received through questionnaires to determine the best package for you. Packages are designed for brides of all levels, including those who are either new to yoga/meditation or who are well-practised and love their yoga.

The package includes:

  • Initial consultation and program design to cater specifically to you.
  • All equipment required – mats, straps, blocks or any other equipment that would be used if doing Pilates or cardio workouts.
  • A personalised approach targeting your specific needs to help you both define and achieve your goals for your wedding day.
  • Travel to you (depending on distance from the CBD, extra travel will entail an extra fee).
  • Alternatively, we can arrange a place for the program if your home is not appropriate.
  • Guidance on how to sustain a home practice in between sessions if required and depending on your goals.
  • Music to enhance the experience.

The Wedding Day Glow – Yoga at your Wedding

The day of your wedding has the potential to bring up your greatest nerves and fears. And, with the bridal party by your side, there are a mix of personalities that can potentially add to the tension.

A wholesome and energising start to the day with a morning yoga practice helps to foster a more relaxed, enjoyable vibe at the wedding. We help you to access this vibe by guiding your group – either brides and bridesmaids or the whole gang - through a calming and energising morning yoga session on your wedding day.

What is involved?

On the day of your wedding, we will travel to you or your venue to lead you through a calming and energising yoga or Pilates practice, finishing with a 15-minute meditation to help settle your nerves for the big day. Alternatively, we can lead a cardio or strength based workout for a group that wants a stronger and more vigorous start to the day.

We can tailor classes and class styles to your group, having worked with many different groups of varying levels and experience.

Specifically, our service will include the following on your wedding day:

  • Initial consultation and analysis of individual questionnaires to cater specifically for your group.
  • All equipment required – mats, straps, blocks or any other equipment that would be used if doing Pilates, strength or cardio based workouts.
  • Travel to you and transportation of equipment.
  • Music to enhance the experience and ensure it is a fun activity for your group.
  • A 60-90 minute class (depending on time limits) and with a calming 15 minute meditation to finish.
