Barre workouts, which combine exercises inspired by ballet, Pilates and yoga, are the latest fad, with devotees including the likes of Madonna, Natalie Portman and Kelly Ripa. However, aside from all the Hollywood hype, the popularity of barre workouts stems from their ability to quickly and effectively transform the body, even after only just a few weeks of regular training. Traditional Barre classes are largely done on a ballet barre, and significantly develop lean muscle mass, while at the same time improving your core strength, flexibility and mobility. The downside is that when performed in a studio environment, Barre classes often comes with a hefty price tag. Bbarre Less is a fusion class combining power Pilates, barre, yoga and cardio based exercises, which is often done to the beat of the music and which is both energetic and fun. Bbarre Less can be done with simply a mat, or for a greater variety of exercises and slightly deeper workout, with the addition of a Pilates/Barre ball and hand weights. A regular Bbarre Less workout is guaranteed to tighten and tone all those problem areas, develop leaner and stronger muscles and leave you feeling energised and lighter. Anyone - despite their weight, fitness level, or age - can immerse themselves in a barre style workout and get results. The best part is, you have lots of fun while you’re doing it!
